Tatiana’s Monbulk is a hidden gem! We stumbled across this humble shopfront with high hopes, thanks to some glowing reviews - and wow, it exceeded all expectations. I never write reviews, but we promised we would because we were absolutely blown away. The food? Incredible. Delicious, filling portions that are amazing value for money. Who gives you a generous serving of smashed avo these days without a $100 price tag? Tatiana’s does!! No issues with accomodating dietary requirements - everything done with a smile too! I’ve visited some of Melbourne’s ‘best’ brunch spots, and honestly, this ranks as one of the best brunch meals I’ve ever had - (we got the Green Gold Smash & Tat’s Big Breaky). Coffee was good too! The staff and owner deserve a special shoutout, too. They’re such lovely, genuine people who truly care about creating a fantastic customer experience. It’s rare to feel so welcomed and appreciated at a cafe. We’ll definitely be back - thank you!

I recently visited Tatiana’s Café in Monbulk and had a thoroughly enjoyable experience. I ordered the chicken schnitzel sandwich, which was delicious—crispy, well-cooked, and generously filled, making it both satisfying, comforting and value for money. What really elevated the visit, though, was the setting. The café is surrounded by beautiful scenery, creating a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere that makes you want to linger a little longer. It’s the kind of place where good food and lovely surroundings come together perfectly. I’d happily return to Tatiana’s Café, whether for another meal or simply to enjoy the peaceful Monbulk surroundings with a coffee. Highly recommend for as a family outing, a catchup with friends or even a solo visit if you are looking for some quiet time alone.

Overall, it was a great experience, definitely a spot loved by the locals. The Blat was quite tasty, though the mayonnaise was a bit heavy, making it slightly rich. The Tat’s Big Brekky was also enjoyable overall; the poached eggs had a slight vinegar taste but were still well. The service was very friendly and the atmosphere had a charming, Monbulk retro vibe that felt warm and welcoming.
